Kristen Stewart is the first American actress ever to receive a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the César Awards, the French equivalent of the Oscars. France’s Academy of Cinema Arts and Sciences announced this morning that Stewart, 24, has been nominated for her role as a movie star’s personal assistant in Clouds of Sils Maria, a performance Vanity Fair called "the best of her life."

The French...Kristin Stewart, the girl who would be more beautiful if she were simply plain??? talented???. really? Hey, sorry, but the empathy for the terrorist thing does not go so far as to have me acquiesce to this nonsense... I mean, after all, the French think Jerry Lewis is the funniest man on earth! Enough said!

I like her. I don't care who doesn't because they don't have to watch anything she has ever done. But, she is a good actress. I am 57 years old and find she is awkward in any public kind of way, but hey, so the f**k what! I do enjoy her acting, she was very good in Still Alice. Haters gonna hate.
