What a great list of suggestions!! I suffer from colitis but have not had a bad flare-up in years because of my careful efforts to eat differently and better. I have already done a lot of the things above and actually drink Kombucha tea instead of green tea, and that helps immensely. Green tea makes me queasy but I like drinking it because it forces me to ingest more water, but now I drink kombucha and I no longer get green around the gills. Bonus!
