You could ask your american doctor about it, and he will neither know about, neither be interested in researching it, nor recommend it, simply because almost all american doctors are suffer from the old "not invented here syndrome" (also known as the "god and the FDA forbid that I might recommend something that works", but that's just me thinking out loud).
