I think a lot of the spending rebound prediction will hinge on where the reported wage growth happened. If the wage growth is with those who are already doing well, this modest increase in wages is likely to go straight to savings and not additional spending. It will be interesting to see the Christmas sales figures from retailers compared to recenet years.

Either people start spending more,to increase inflation,that the Fed wants,or the Fed will create more fiat.One way or the other,we are going to see more inflation.

Just to run something by you all. We are told wages are up and confidence is up, but also being told spending is down. Now, bring this home, if you get a pay raise and have a positive outlook for the future, do you spend more money or less money?
